What happens when eight classical musicians from the Merlin Ensemble Vienna team up with astrophysicist Harald Lesch? A journey through space and time. Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, composed 300 years ago, provides us with an annual pass and an environmental ticket between Earth and orbit, all with a minimal CO2 footprint.
Lesch and Vivaldi take us on a musical and scientific journey through time, starting with the formation of the Earth and its seasons and continuing to the current climate change. In the end, Harald Lesch observes the dramatic changes to Earth and our climate from orbit – up to the apocalypse? Even contemporary daily politics is not spared.
