Famous arias from works by Offenbach, Bizet, Gounod, Massenet, Rossini, Auber and Donizetti tell of youthful joie de vivre, deep love, longing, courage and national pathos.

From the ethereal poetry of Olympia to Juliette's exuberant "Je veux vivre," a wide emotional arc unfolds. Rossini's dramatic soundscapes and Donizetti's brilliant virtuosity—crowned by the famous cabaletta "Salut à la France"—lend the evening brilliance and spirited bravura.
