A committed Marxist and left-wing activist unexpectedly inherits an old apartment and plunges into a deep crisis. Victim of her bourgeois fate, the class traitor has no choice but to question her previous beliefs and search for a new meaning in life within her freshly inherited four walls.
"Wunschlos unglücklich" is a comedic play by someone who knows nothing about theater, for people who think nothing of theater.

About Toxische Pommes

Driven by her fascination with the ugly sides of life, Toxische Pommes parodies Austrian society, often exposing it where it really hurts. In addition to her satirical short videos, she has been performing on various cabaret stages in the German-speaking world since 2021. In 2024, her debut novel "Ein schönes Ausländerkind" was published by Zsolnay.

Following "Ketchup, Mayo & Ajvar," "Wunschlos unglücklich" is her second solo program.
