The renowned Swan Lake tells the love story between the young Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette, who has been transformed into a swan by the evil sorcerer Rothbart. Against the backdrop of grand court festivities, enchanted love scenes, spells, and deceptions, the charm of ballet and classical technique unfolds, narrating one of the most important love adventures in theatre history. Balletto di Siena presents an unprecedented, unexpected, and intense interpretation, in which Pëtr Il’ič Čajkovskij’s magnificent score remains at the forefront and the magic of the famous love between the two protagonists is fully preserved.

Founded in 2012 and directed by Marco Batti, a leading figure in today’s choreographic landscape with a highly versatile career in both artistic and academic fields, the Tuscan dance company balances classical repertoire with contemporary works, combining technical precision with a movement style full of elegance and passion.
