Las Migas
Flamencas
Las Migas return to our festival with a new album under their belt, with an unmistakable title, Flamencas, a tribute to the essence and purity of flamenco. After more than two decades of career, concerts in over 50 countries, and recognitions such as the Latin Grammy for Best Flamenco Album (2022), Las Migas have transformed the genre with a fusion of styles that captivates audiences worldwide. But now, with Flamencas, the Barcelona-born quartet returns to the roots with a more stripped-down and intimate recording where voice and guitar take center stage. In this work, Las Migas explore the main flamenco palos with respect, letting the singing and strings speak for themselves, with the strength and truth of the essential. Their music, they say, continues to weave Mediterranean melodies and contemporary harmonies, but in Flamencas the soul asserts itself more clearly than ever. Live, at the Palau in Barcelona, it will be a pure and vibrant experience, with passion and feeling filling everything. Som-hi!
