I 7 RE DI ROMA - ENRICO BRIGNANO | Musical
Duration: approximately 2h 20min including interval
Enrico Brignano brings to the stage a show from the great Garinei and Giovannini tradition, the musical legend written in 1989. The actor presents this classic work seeking a balance between tradition and modern times, with an adaptation that respects the original while aligning more closely with today’s tastes and sensibilities.
The legendary seven kings at the origins of the founding of Rome will follow one another in a whirlwind of Brignano’s disguises, amid songs, dances, and stories both well-known and obscure, tracing back to the dawn of history. Between myth and reality, alongside Simone Mori in the role of Janus, part God and part narrator, Brignano takes us back in time with a young and talented company, showing that, despite the passage of centuries, human nature remains the same, and what we pursue is still the ideal of freedom that makes life truly worth living.
