Festive Concert at Schleissheim Castle

The New Schleissheim Palace, with its magnificent Baroque court garden, was commissioned by Elector Max Emanuel from 1701 onwards, modeled on Versailles – in the hope of attaining the imperial crown – and served for centuries as the summer residence of the Bavarian ruling family. The palace complex reflects the power, wealth, and prestige of the Wittelsbachs. The Residenz-Solisten bring well-known masterpieces to life anew in a dignified setting with their concerts in the Baroque hall.
