IN BERGAMO FROM 9 TO 12 APRIL 2026

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL returns to Italy in 2026 with OVO in Rome and Bergamo – a unique opportunity to experience the famous show created 15 years ago, which next year will feature an entirely new performance. OVO will be at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome from 2 to 5 April 2026 and at the Choruslife Arena in Bergamo from 9 to 12 April 2026.

After several months of work, the OVO team will present the new version of the show: redesigned sets and costumes, new acrobatic acts, original characters, and reinvented music. OVO will amaze more than ever with its fascinating colony of insects, bringing together 53 acrobats and musicians in a show that delights both adults and children.

OVO depicts a day in the life of an insect community, featuring various insects in the show, with three main characters: a ladybug, a fly, and a beetle. The name OVO means "egg" in Portuguese and is a timeless symbol of the life cycle and the birth of numerous insects, serving as the central theme of the show. Visually, OVO even hides an insect in its name: the two "O"s represent the eyes, while the letter "V" forms the nose and antennae.

From powerful crickets bouncing on trampolines to a hypnotic spider twisting in its web, OVO offers extraordinary spectacle that sparks the imagination. Fun and chaotic, yet also adorable and marvelous, OVO enchants the child within us with its sweet exuberance.
