From the structural intensity of Mozart’s Sonata in C minor to the poetic idealism of Schumann’s Fantasy —written as a gesture of love and artistic devotion— the programme culminates with Schubert’s monumental Sonata in B-flat major, a farewell work full of open spaces and suspended time.
