The Brass Music Supergroup brings together the who’s who of the brass music scene –

Members from ensembles such as the Egerländer Musikanten, Mnozil Brass, da Blechhauf’n, Viera Blech, and others are represented, as well as musicians from the world’s most renowned orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic. The goal of the Supergroup is to showcase the diversity and power of brass music, which has experienced an impressive renaissance over the past decades.

Lively, dynamic, unifying

Brass music captivates and enjoys cult status as one of the oldest musical traditions in the world—far beyond music clubs, traditional bands, and village ensembles. Bands like Global Kryner, Federspiel, or HMBC have reached a wide audience over the past 20 years with their own modern interpretation of brass music. The greatness and expressiveness of this music can be experienced firsthand when the Brass Music Supergroup—a collective of renowned members including the Vienna Philharmonic, LaBrassBanda, Mnozil Brass, Egerländer Musikanten, and Da Blechhauf’n—gives its full-throttle debut in Berlin.

Trumpeter and entertainer Thomas Gansch, always mischievous, never loses sight of the music. Other stars of brass music perform at the highest level, celebrating the purest form of their beloved style. For them, brass music is above all a lived-together experience. Here, tradition and modernity unite into a dynamic, connecting, and vibrant musical culture—presented by an ensemble whose size and virtuosity are unmatched.
