Country Gospel Christmas
Since 1993, the name Andy Lee Lang has been inseparably linked with Christmas.
That year, the entertainer created his show Rockin’ Christmas and a success story was born. With more than 250 shows, over 150,000 concert visitors, and two produced CDs (Rockin’ Christmas and American Christmas), his show has become Austria’s most successful Christmas production.
Inspired by the hit musical Go West, Andy Lee Lang recorded his first country CD in 2011 and presented his show Goes Country – Live in Concert.
Thanks to his love for American Christmas music, it was only a matter of time before Country Christmas was launched. And in 2023, the now traditional date at the Metropol returns!
Andy will be accompanied by a seven-piece band made up of some of the best musicians of the genre. The program includes Christmas hits such as Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer, Winter Wonderland, and Santa Claus Is Coming to Town in country style, but above all many new songs, through which Andy explores the entire palette of country music. The show also features excursions into Tex-Mex music, Cajun sounds from Louisiana, and even Hawaiian flair. Pure Christmas Country Music – presented by none other than

The great hall
It is distinguished by its six sand- and gold-colored columns and the central nave with the two brass louvers. Since summer 1998 equipped with modern soundproofing, the large hall of the Viennese metropolis, newly renovated, shines in new splendor. Famous and popular due to international and national events from musicals to cabaret to concerts.
A stage open on three sides gives the visitor fascinating insights into the scenarios. In addition, in the case of in-house musical productions, the entire hall is usually played and the audience is involved in the event. For all cultural events, the large hall can be optimally utilized, with a capacity of 700 standing or 550 seats, or adapted seating with round tables. Carefully selected performances, state-of-the-art technology and competent employees make culture an experience!
