André Rieu has announced a new concert spectacle in Ljubljana on his 75th birthday
André Rieu announced today, on his 75th birthday, that he is returning to Ljubljana, organized by Star Productions. The conductor and violinist, who has been delighting audiences around the world for many years, combining beautiful melodies and positive energy in his performances and celebrating life and music with each performance, will perform at the Stožice Arena on November 27, 2025 as part of his new world tour. Once again, he will be joined on stage by his Johann Strauss Orchestra and many international soloists.
The charismatic Dutchman, whose concerts are attended by more than half a million fans every year, is undoubtedly one of the most successful musicians of our time. He can boast of having sold more than 40 million albums, of which more than 500 have been certified platinum. His Facebook followers and YouTube views also number in the tens of millions.
After the almost sold-out concert that Ljubljana is expecting on November 16 this year, Rieu said in the announcement of the concert for 2025: "I am thrilled to be coming to Slovenia again! The warmth and passion of the Slovenian audience always inspires me. I can't wait to perform in front of the fans. Together we will create unforgettable memories."
Rieu's latest DVD, Love is all Around , is a recording of his spectacular open-air concerts in Maastricht in 2023. One of the most moving performances from this album is certainly the performance by the brilliant Emma Kok, then fifteen, who moved the audience to tears with her French Eurovision hit Voilà.
"We have been very happy and successful in collaborating with André Rieu and his team since 2016. We are delighted to announce another of his concerts in Ljubljana. He is a musician who wants to make people happy with his performances, to convey to them the joy and love of music and life, and he does all of this very successfully. That is why we are looking forward to his return next year," said Alen Ključe, director of Star Production, when announcing the concert.
The audience in Ljubljana can expect a wonderful evening full of timeless opera classics, musicals, operettas, as well as film and popular music and, of course, the inevitable waltzes. The conductor and violin virtuoso is flawlessly accompanied by his Johann Strauss Orchestra, which opens the way for the audience to the world of music and dance. Their performances, full of humor, luxurious costumes and enchanting scenography in the glow of stage lights, are admired by all generations. Each concert is a unique spectacle, full of magic, and worth experiencing.
Come and experience the magic and see why André Rieu is one of the most popular artists in the world!

Arena Stožice
The Stožice Arena (Slovene: Arena Stožice) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It was designed by Slovenian Sadar + Vuga architects and is the biggest indoor arena in the country. It lies in the Bežigrad district, north of the city centre. The arena is part of the Stožice Sports Park sports complex.
The arena is named after the area in which it is located, and the change of the name is possible in the future due to sponsorship rights. Together with the football stadium, it is part of the Stožice Sports Park. The arena building area measures 14,164 square meters. It was constructed in just 14 months and opened on 10 August 2010 with a basketball match between Slovenia and Spain, which was won by Spain 79–72 after overtime.
The arena has a capacity of 12,480 seats for basketball and is located in the north-western part of the park. The four levels of concourses and the lower, VIP and upper stands are covered by a shell-shaped dome. The arena is used for indoor sports such as basketball, handball and volleyball and is the home venue of KK Cedevita Olimpija. The arena is one of the main venues of the Slovenia national team in most indoor sports, except for ice hockey, for which the arena is not suitable and could only host it if ice cooling devices would be implemented. Alongside the stadium, the arena is also designed to host many cultural events.
