Ginger Baker is one of the most influential drummers in music history.
With legendary bands such as Cream and Blind Faith, he shaped an entire era and his virtuoso, polyrhythmic drum solos have inspired generations of musicians to this day.
On this special evening, long-time friends and musical companions of Ginger Baker will come together at Porgy & Bess for an extraordinary tribute concert.
Drummer Peter Brkusic will join four top-class bands on stage to present an exciting cross-section of the diverse musical oeuvre that Ginger Baker left behind.

PORGY and BESS Jazzclub
Porgy & Bess (actually, Jazz and Music Club Porgy & Bess ) is a jazz club in the Riemergasse 11 in the 1st district of Vienna. The club , founded in 1993 is considered " the most important jazz organizer and trendy meeting point " of the Austrian capital .
