OPERA IN ROMA PRESENTS IN THE PRESTIGIOUS VILLA FIORENTINO CORSO ITALIA, 53 - SORRENTO

Villa Fiorentino majestically overlooks Corso Italia, road built in the mid-800 and main street of Sorrento.

The Villa was built in the 20's - 30's of the '900 from Fiorentino-Cuomo families and then donated to the city of Sorrento. Commissioned in neoclassical style, it reminds of the American twentieth-century villas.

In November 2016, inside the big park of the Villa, the ancient Medieval Walls of Sorrento, built to defend the city to protect it from the invasion of the Saracens, were brought to light.

Scheduled this year in the heart of Sorrento, in the splendid Villa Fiorentino, the union between the Neapolitan tradition and the great Opera awaits you.

Our soloists will perform the masterpieces that have made Italy famous all over the world, on this unique occasion accompanied by an exhilarating Pulcinella who moves on the traditional notes reciting the most touching Neapolitan poems. The musical ensemble consisting of mandolin, violin, cello and piano will revive the essence of the Neapolitan culture.

In this unique concert, artists of undisputed quality will accompany you to discover the most famous opera arias from La Traviata, Rigoletto and Tosca, to name a few, and the Neapolitan tradition, with the beautiful O Sole mio, Funiculì Funiculà and Torna in Surriento.

This unforgettable concert and the magnificent performance of Opera arias and Neapolitan songs will leave a wonderful memory of your journey in Italy!
